It’s FSU week, so we’re totally not going to be talking about potential BCS shakeups. Nope. Not here. Our focus is set 100% on beating the Florida State Seminoles.

We’re not going to discuss the fact that Oregon and Kansas State are now out of the National Championship picture, opening the door wide for the winner of the SEC Championship game to play Notre Dame for the BCS title. Nope.

We’re especially not going to take that one step further and think about what might happen if Southern Cal (USC is in Columbia, South Carolina) defeats Notre Dame next week. The thought that the top-three teams in the BCS standings in that scenario would be Alabama, Georgia and Florida, with the top-two playing each other in the season finale, has not even crossed our minds.

We’re not thinking for one second about a potential rematch with our one of our biggest rivals in the national championship game. This is all pretty well-worn territory for us. No big deal.

We’re not thinking about a potential No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup between Alabama and Florida. Been there, done that. Rubber match? No! We’re not gonna talk about it!

What happens if Southern Cal beats Notre Dame, Georgia beats Alabama and Florida State beats Florida? LET’S NOT TALK ABOUT IT.
